During a typical day, the children….

  • Arrive to a welcoming environment filled with engaging resources.
  • Settle in, developing relationships with trusted educators and children of all ages who attend the Centre.
  • Unleash their creativity and self expression at the painting table.
  • Develop self-help skills as they become more independent during daily routines.
  • Feel empowered as they make choices about the learning experiences they would like to participate in – perhaps play in the home corner, read books, do a puzzle or play with the trains.
  • Participate in a small group forum where their interests are explored, and their learning and development is supported and assessed.
  • Engage in art, drama, music and other meaning-making experiences.
  • Enjoy sensory experiences as they play in the sand pit, explore play dough or a myriad of other sensory materials.
  • Listen to stories and enjoy our huge collection of books.
  • Develop their gross motor skills as they run, climb or slide outside or join in an educator-led dancing or yoga session.
