Our Centre

Cammeray Children’s Centre has a proud and vibrant history spanning more than 35 years. It was originally established as an occasional child care service by a group of civic-minded parents who recognised the need for quality early childhood care and education within the local community.

Today, that same community spirit remains at the heart of everything we do. The Centre is proudly operated as a not-for-profit organisation, managed by a parent committee. Their dedication ensures the service continues to reflect the needs and values of local families.

Originally located on the grounds of All Saints Church, the Centre now resides in the Kendall Community Centre – a building with its own rich history as a gathering place for the local community.

We operate four days a week, Tuesday to Friday, and close during the Christmas holiday period.
